Some very generous comments at the bottom of this Sick of, Mad As Hell piece I wrote and published earlier this week. It has now been republished in the online paper Morning Mail as at 2pm today it had had about 4,400 readers.
Morning Mail has noted that the seat of Mackellar, once held forever by the seemingly indomitable Bronwyn Bishop is being contested by Independent, Jim Ball, a resident on the Northern Beaches since 1992. Jim will be remembered best, and sorely missed for his radio broadcasts on Sydney radio 2GB and 2UE.
His dedication to conservatism and more particularly his innate common sense combined with an ability to express a position far exceeds that of any politician in Australia today.
