In the 24/7 rolling and roiling fog of news and information these days it’s very easy to lose track of the facts. The US would have continued to hit the snooze button through WW2 had it not been for one rather significant event, conveniently overlooked by Obama.

The president is in Japan for the G7 Summit in Ise-Shima, following a visit to Vietnam.

“Seventy-one years ago on a bright cloudless morning, death fell from the sky and the world was changed,” Obama said at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. “A flash of light and a wall of fire destroyed a city, and demonstrated that mankind possessed the means to destroy itself.”
Editor’s Note: Death first fell from the sky on December 7, 1941 when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. Barack Obama makes it sound like “death fell from the sky” for no reason… or perhaps he’s trying to imply (once again) that it’s just big, bad America’s fault. Message to Obama: We are NOT the bad guys!

Dear America, Obama doesn’t mention Pear Harbour
