I’m not sure who the villain is in this Clinton/Trump fight over the dead soldier.
I’m still trying to work out why, if not for base political reasons to wedge Trump did Team Clinton, out of all the casualties of recent theatres of war, specifically seek out the parents of a dead soldier who also happened to be a Muslim?
I can think of no other rationale, given Trumps comments about Muslim immigration, than that it was purely political in an endeavour to wedge Trump in follow up gotcha Q & A’s from the mainstream media.
Whichever way he responded he was wedged.
The follow up question is why did the parents allow themselves and the memory of their son to become players in a tawdry exercise in wedge politics? What exactly was their reason for being part of this tacky DNC/Clinton inspired political ploy and theatre in the first place?
