The hypocrisy here lifts the wallpaper

The hypocrisy in this sucks the oxygen out of the room. Get this. Former SAS soldier and Liberal member for Canning in WA, Andrew Hastie is in strife for wearing his uniform in a montage of photos that highlights his life’s story on a billboard.
He’s not only been told to desist but also booted from the Army Reserve because he’s apparently politicised and sullied the military. At the same time however it’s ok for the various defence uniforms to be worn and politicised in the Gay Mardi Gras. Then of course there’s the Australian of the Year, David Morrison (pass the Stemitl) who is only there because of his military past and exploits this in his new role as a very political, gender bending cultural warrior on The Diversity Council of Australia.
