The naive and gullible bedwetting Turks will regret that they came out on the streets to support the Islamist Erdogan.
Those behind the military coup know where he was/is taking the country (in the same direction and to the same destination as Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhoid was taking Eygpt until the miltary stepped in there) and wanted to steer it back in the direction of a secular democratic regime as envisgaed by Attaturk.
Erdogan now has the excuse to introduce the 1,1,1, version of democracy.
