I find it interesting that there’s a lot of confected outrage and faux anxiety and concern about the $160 million to be spent on the plebiscite but not much similar concern about the 400 and something billion debt racked up in the last 8 years from a surplus position. And no comment at all about spending $50 billion on a dozen subs (diesel no less) which will be obsolete even before the keel is laid and the delivery occurs in 2050. Also no comment on the billions in taxpayers money payed out each year in subsidies to the foreign owned wind farm operators that dot the Australian landscape.
Please spare me the your shallow cant on the $160 million spend on the plebiscite. If that’s the extent of the argument you really dont have one.
