After another week of yet another IPCC gabfest in South Korea and Paris is a byword for all things climate, Jennifer Oriel is quite correct in noting that the very first draft IPCC report in 1995 was doctored on the way through to becoming final in 1996, to reflect the exact opposite of the expert scientific conclusions of the draft. Climate change: PM faces D-Day as IPCC reports on Paris targets

The fix was in from the very first draft of the very first IPPC report in 1995 when Ben Santer of the Lawrence Livermore Nation Laboratory singled handedly reversed the Climate science of the entire IPCC report by deleting key statements from the expert approved chapter 8 draft. — Unstoppable Global Warming-Every 1,500 Years – S Fred Singer and Dennis Avery, 2007, Pages 63-65 (check the random page preview at the link)

Dr Frederick Seitz president of the National Academy of Sciences, at the time said “I have never witnessed a more disturbing corruption of the peer-review process with changes made between draft and final stage intended to deceive policy makers and the public into believing that the scientific evidence shows human activities are causing global warming. Changes made to the report once it left the hands of its scientific authors, he said, were intended “to deceive policy makers and the public into believing that the scientific evidence shows human activities are causing global warming.”
Almost 25 years on and we are finally coming to the realisation that we’ve been dudded as we live with the sinister, dark hand of Santer’s fraudulent deletions, reflected in our quarterly electricity bills.
