To gain an understanding of where the voice is headed within a few years, there’s no better place to start than with a look at the stoush going on in America between Elon Musk and the ADL (The Anti Defamation League)
Since 1913, the ADL has done good works concerning itself with its core business of defending against the defamation and discrimination of Jews.
To criticise the ADL was the equivalent of shooting Bambi.
Well that was up until fairly recently when it was undermined and white-anted by the hard left.
It is currently headed up by a hard left Jewish activist from the Obama White House, Jonathan Greenblatt and being Jewish himself in the same way as George Soros is Jewish, he too is Bambi.
Greenblatt has simply maximised his own Jewish heritage while using the ADL as both a sword and a shield for his base political proclivities and has successfully harnessed and repurposed the reputation and credibility of the ADL to prosecute programs of the left that are totally unrelated to Jewish matters.
The ADL was just another cultural institution to be undermined, marched through and taken over.
It was ripe for the picking. The fact that the left could hide behind it’s reputation (that’s the shield) is a bonus.
In the Elon Musk and Greenblatt knockdown drag out, Greenblatt is obviously deploying the mafia credo, “nice little business you got there, shame if anything happened to it”, standover and shakedown tactic by using intimidation and threats of reputational damage (that’s the sword) to force corporate America to roll over to his far left woke agenda which has nothing to do with the core business of the ADL
In short, the ADL has become a stalking horse for the agenda of the hard left.
Bambi the deer has become Bambi the Trojan Horse.
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞?
I’m glad you asked.
I see similarities on the road up ahead for The Voice and from day dot when the idea of wasn’t even on the radar or inside the Overton window of political possibilities I have suggested that this was its future.
After a decent passage of time and public interest has waned, and the community has moved on, it will slowly and incrementally become infested by political activists of the Labor Green left and their affiliates, harnessing the community goodwill invested in the Voice, if the referendum were to succeed.
The Voice, embedded in the constitution, like the ADL, will become a political Bambi and therefore a political no go zone.
