Could Marine Le Pen become France’s next President — France 24

This explains the French system well. Where as we run a preferential system on the one ballot paper on the one day, the French do something very similar over 2 days 2 weeks apart. As I suggested some while back, and I’d confirmed here, I suspect the anti Le Pen forces will gang up and suggest to their supporters to vote for the other candidate irrespective of who it is

What The Hell is Going On And Why? — Islamic Groups Dodge Abuse Inquiry –Daily Telegraph

And the beat goes on — We’re entitled to ask, what the hell is going on? Seems like more of the same, Islam is special, don’t upset them, routine — “Lawyer Peter Kelso, who has represented 15 survivors of Christian institutions, recently wrote to the commission asking if it had looked at abuse from within Islam, particularly relating to forced child marriage, female genital mutilation and child sex”

How vile and nasty are these women speaking out against Ayaan Hirsi Ali

How absolutely nasty, vicious savage and vile is this lot. Radiating rage and hostility and absolutely dripping with venom and spitting the very toxic sludge, the very hatred, of which they accuse Ayaan Hirsi Ali.. Judging by their rounded, uppity vowels I’d suggest none of them have actually lived under Sharia law or Muslim rule. If they’re refugees or their parents are, why did they come? The fact that they’re all wearing the head scarves speaks volumes about their lack of personal awareness or insight and their Stockholm Syndrome type suppression.

The Stasi in East Germany had collaborators in families who informed on their parents or spouses on discussions around the kitchen table that opposed the prevailing party line.

Islam Nation’s Christian Genocide — Jennifer Oriel — The Australian

In Australia, Labor and Greens politicians responded negatively to news that the Liberal Coalition has provided asylum to several thousand Christians fleeing Islamic State genocide in its dedicated program for Syrian refugees. Greens senator Nick McKim created a distinction between selecting on “genuine need” and religion in relation to the Syrian intake, and described the latter as “disgusting”. He might need a briefing on the reality of jihadist genocide.

Random Note #187,922 — Justin Milne’s rapid rail and learning curve — The ABC’s Marxists, Quadrant

There was a meme going and it still pops up from time to time that reads to the effect that:
“..when you’re dead you don’t know your dead. It’s those you leave behind who suffer the pain and difficulty. It’s the same when you’re ignorant and stupid..”
I was thinking about this recently in the context of the appointment of Justin Milne as the Chairman of the ABC Board and his totally ill-informed and outrageous observation about there being no bias at the ABC.

PETA says milk is a ‘Symbol Of White Supremacy’

From the “we’re not in Kansas anymore Toto” files. Just when you thought the left couldn’t become any more deranged and unhinged.
“…The animal rights group today released a new video to cry over milk, equating the nutritious drink with Nazism and white supremacy..”
