Douglas Murray who wrote the book, The Strange Death of Europe, made an interesting and laser accurate observation yesterday in an interview with respect to the wilful ignorance and uninformed ย pro Hamas, pro terrorism supporters in the West who try and twist reality to suit their moral equivalence and moral relativism , faulty and twisted logic and equally twisted thinking rather than orient their moral compass to true north and shape their thinking from the reality on the ground and the way things really are.
Itโs a form of escapism that helps them cope with the world and avoid its harsh realities.
Life is full of tough choices but deciding where you stand on barbarism and butchery is not one of them
It really describes what is happening.
This is a time and place for moral clarity and sometimes it takes events such as this to flush people out and for them to reveal and define who they really are.
They can no longer cloak themselves in moral righteousness They have to decide where they stand. Itโs binary. Theyโre either on the right side of history or theyโre not.
As Labor luminary Graham Richardson said once many years ago, โ.. Or to put it another way, sooner or later you get caught out.
Usually you turn on the light and the cockroaches scatter but on occasions such as this theyโre caught on the horns of a moral dilemma and become unwitting propaganda pawns for evil and for everyone one to see.
