With many of these school shootings in America the usual argument for the first few days will be that it’s all about guns.
And as for the end result that’s true. Guns are a real problem.
But that’s the means and it doesn’t explain and in fact is an attempt to ameliorate, mitigate and dismiss the underlying cause or the motivation or the event(s) “triggering” the gun violence in the first place.
It seems to me that, as is often said and I think most people agree that if “𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞” then “𝐠𝐮𝐧 𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡”
The gun violence ending in suicide is simply the end result of the mental health of the individual further upstream.
Particularly with the manifestos of the shooters giving an insight into many of the school shootings of recent years, the cause of the act has been inspired or triggered by radical trans ideology.
Radical trans ideology is no different to radical “anything” ideology. Of any religion or political cause or belief system, whether it be ISIS, Al Qaeda and radical Islam,1930s Nazism, 2020s Antifa or the Mao inspired cultural revolution in China of the 1960’s.
It’s the intersection of radicalisation and mental health that is the problem.
That’s what must to be tackled.
It’s another of those issues where 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐟 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐦.
