Bowen is being frozen out.

It seems to be lost in the mists and fog of time, but it was either Paul Keating to Bill Hayden as leader of Labor to make way for Bob Hawke, or Gareth Evan’s to Bob Hawke to make way for Paul Keating, but whomever or whenever, the line was “…𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐫, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐠𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐰𝐚𝐠..”

This rather, unnecessarily crude line from 40+ years ago came flooding back this morning with reference to Chris Bowen and is fanatical, zealotry and religious adeherence to renewables over nuclear.

It’s time to move on Chris, the dogs are at it again and sniffing around your swag.

And please stop with the lie that renewables are the cheapest form of energy and look up the meaning of the economic term, “opportunity cost”.

That is the money spent on this, (renewables) can’t then be spent on that, (nuclear). Time to cut your renewable losses and divert the money to nuclear.

And why, as every household and business can testify, are our energy costs continually going up if renewables are the cheapest?  It should be the opposite.

There it is!!!

There’s the lie right there, exposed for everyone to see on their electricity bills.

Renewables are boutique at best and like the rest of the climate narrative, a totally bogus alternative. An absolute and total hoax.

For the sake of the exercise though, and not withstanding the unspoken costs of rewiring the entire grid to deliver renewables, let’s accept the “renewables are the cheapest lie”.

It can’t be avoided that they are also the most variable and the most unreliable and simply cannot deliver base load energy.

“Cheap”, variable and unreliable simply won’t do. But that’s what Bowen is promising.
