It’s been my view since childhood when my elder brother insisted that I share my pocket money for washing the car or perhaps it was mowing the lawn that somehthing wasn’t quite right with his demand.
Although as and eight or nine year old I didn’t have a name for it, the tinkling wind chimes of my gut were telling me that it just wasn’t right, that I shouldn’t be extorted and hand over the rewards of my effort to someone who hadn’t contributed.
Suffice to say, as an adult himself, my brother went on to become a full blown leftie. I still don’t understand where that line of thinking came from.
Years and years of reading and observation in adult life about the French Revolution and the Mao cultural revolution in China in my own lifetime, revealed just how deranged the left is.
They simply aren’t normal people. They actually believe they can defy the gravity of reality, logic, reason and observable truth in the same way of the Einstein observation that “insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result”.
That is why socialism and communism are revisted over again by the left despite history being littered with the debris and death from the previous failed socialism experiments. They believe that the problem was that those people didn’t do it correctly — That this time it’ll be different but of course it never is.
The result, whether it be Russia, China, Cuba or Venzuela or even the putative Mayor Zoran Mandami’s plans for New York City, is always exactly the same. It always end in the equal distribution of misery as they fail to take into account human nature.
Like any one of a myriad mental conditions on a spectrum, it really is a case that the brains of the left are wired totally differently to the detriment of everyone.
They are driven by rabid ideology and are determined to shoe-horn the world to fit their ideology. No matter how bizarre and fanciful the reality of the world will not be allowed to get in their way or interfere.
Men can be women. Renewable energy. The economy. Crime. They are totally untethered from the consequences of their own insanity. There’s no arguing with them.
Their thinking is not just different and deranged, but in the case of the euphemistically called “gender affirming care” for sub to early teens, it is totally demonic.
The last 48 hours with people outing themselves and celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk has simply confirmed everything.
There is no logic or reasoning attached to their behaviour. In the words of rock musician, Joe Walsh, “You can’t argue with a sick mind”
