Hizb ut-Tahrir has been a known terrorist threat for the last 20/25 years and banned in Britain, Bangladesh, China, Germany, Russia, Turkey, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, and all Arab countries including Saudi Arabia. Even the Taliban have launched a crackdown against Hizb ut-Tahrir in Afghanistan.
The failure of our governments to be awake to the threat tells us all we need to know about the Canberra bubble and its priorities.
What has to happen, what will it take for Australia’s government of either persuasion to do something?
