Islamophobia is what could best described as a neologism. That’s is, a newly coined word or expression to describe in this case something that doesn’t exist.
Muslim radicals and their red green alliance of the socialist left are virulently antisemitic but they “want in”.
They want their own word for when you object or criticise.
They therefore need to psychologically project their condition (antisemitism) on to everyone else with their own label.
In a case of “what about us” and in order for this accusatory word game to work they first need to create this neologism out of thin air to describe their newly invented status as a victim and therefore requiring laws to protect them and their cohort.
The thinking is that the jews have their antisemitism status and so they require a similar status and laws to give that status currency and validation
In this case the word is Islamophobia.
The average person is agnostic about Islam they don’t think about it much at all except when it imposes itself on events and makes itself the news.
When the average person hears the word, Islamophobia they think, “this is new, never heard of it, no such thing exists” But of course your denial of its existence is proof of its existence. Your denial is proof of your Islamophobia.
See how it works?
Last Friday at the Lakemba mosque was a case book study.
A case of deliberately contrived Islamophobia. Create an event involving, in this case, the Prime Minister and then sit back and watch for the mainstream and social media response.
All of it negative.
And bingo. There it is again. Islamophobia.
The fact that the media reports the incident, unfiltered, unedited, live to air and the community objects to the behaviour they turn it around and highlight the communities revulsion and visceral response is yet another example of Islamophobia.
Add to the mix everything from Sept 11, the Bondi massacre, the ISIS brides and as far back as the Cronulla riots and the Skaff brothers rapes in the early 2000s.
As a group, just like the mafia, bikie gangs or drug cartels they create the negative perception but you’re guilty of an Islamophobic stereotypical mindset if you notice or comment.
