Do not adjust your set. It’s not your imagination. Political Ponerology. Its a thing. It’s real.
I often find that once you can identify something and give shape and form to it, or at least someone has identified it, two things happen.
One: You can relax and no longer feel that it’s just your imagination or that you’re paranoid. It’s not just you.
Two: You can get your arms around it, stop wrestling with it and start dealing with it.
In this instance, we finally have a name It’s not your imagination. It’s called political ponerology and although there are many, the most recent standout example of this phenomenon would be UK, Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
We simply label such people as left or hard left or right, but it goes much deeper than just the superficiality of such a lazy label.
There is something not right about the wiring of their brain. They are psychologically disordered.
You often hear about people, in a good way, being referred to as a “force of nature” but the opposite is also true, that there are destructive personalities that are also a force of nature.
In the line of the movie, The Dark Knight:
