Interesting that the government is determined to legislate on what they determine to be mis or dis information.
It’s well established that misinformation and its variants are really just a euphemism for what the government doesn’t like or which exposes the governments true agenda and its dishonest motives.
In other words the governmemt is beyond reproach and would have you believe that they would never stoop to mislead or misinform. Election promises, anyone?
Misinformation is central to the political art after all.
But what about the elephant in the room? What about the government proxies and instrumentalities that do the government’s “wet work” as the mafia calls it.
Instrumentalities like the state and federal education departments and the university curricula which is loaded and pregnant with indoctrination.
These institutions do the heavy lifting in misinformation/indoctrination by only presenting a single, one sided officially sanctioned and approved version of events or facts.
That is indoctrination. It’s the slow drip that goes deeper over time as opposed to the hard hit or glancing blow which is more superficial and passing.

Indoctrination is when education, political messaging or religion presents only one viewpoint and discourages disagreement. Or if you like the process of teaching people to accept particular beliefs unquestioningly.
The beliefs may have the ring of “truthiness” about them but also blatant falsehoods and/or a selective mixture of both.
In short, Misinformation, bad. Indoctrination, good.
The difference is only that of the authority behind it and the institutional endorsement and whether it is merely communicated (misinformation) or systematically taught (indoctrination)
For all intents and purposes they’re the same thing.
