Following the Geneva peace talks in December 1973, then-Israeli Foreign Minister Abba Eban quipped that the Palestinians “never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.”
He was right then and it’s been the same in the intervening 52 years. They’ve managed to maintain a perfect score.
That said, it’ll be interesting to see if they’ve matured and evolved since that time and grab this last opportunity.
