Watching psychiatrist Jonathan Alpert talking on Fox News about his patients who are traumatised by Trump (his name or his image) and I think it comes from a self righteous, almost religious belief and fixation by those on the left that they and only they have the answers no matter what the problem and Trumps style simply sets them off.
They are so immature they struggle with their miserable lives. They have been so indulged and pampered and believe themselves to be so entitled, they are blinded and obssessed and can never be wrong. Its not possible. They are mentally fragile and in the true sense, delusional and unbalanced. Living on a razors edge, hanging by a thread.
Their lives are one big, Mao style struggle session.
The way in which a single person can trigger their fury and wrath points to a deepseated mental illness.
They are repulsed and and tgrfoubnled byTrump lives and he rent free in their heads 24/7
In the religious sense they have been so thoroughly and deeply indoctrinated and brainwashed, so ingrained in the firm belief that any view to the contrary or any person espousing that view is not to be tolerated.
And again in the religious sense, the only similarity I can think of is the intractable Sunni and Shia schism in Islam.
