Watching Albo on the 6pm news and despite his blustering, bravado and braggadocio over the Libs and Nats ditching Net Zero, I suspect that wiser heads in Labor are very nervous. Itโll be panic stations behind closed doors.
Make no mistake. This is both tectonic and seismic and changes the contours of the entire climate/renewables/net zero landscape.
Labor have been snookered.

But now the Libs have at last realised whatโs been staring them in the face all along.
The politics of kitchen table economics and the politics of the domestic electricity bill and will be able to force Labor to defend the indefensible.
Think about that?

Bowen, the man with the most punchable face in Australia, will try and gaslight everyone by telling us that renewables are cheaper than coal but of course that flies in the face of past experience and the lived reality, of struggling families and small business.
They have their energy bills to prove it that heโs lying. It should be an easy sell.

Question is, as always, are the Libs up to the task?
