Random Note #193,682 — Citizenship Test

Just stepping back a bit from the citizenship debate, perhaps we should hasten slowly and insist that the citizenship of the nation of origin be retained for a period so that if a person is stripped of their Australian citizenship, we at least have somewhere to repatriate them. To insist on surrendering their previous citizenship when being granted Australian citizenship, to rework FDR, means the sons of bitches become our sons of bitches. Permanently.
