They say that a picture is worth a thousand words so it seems to me that The Guardians media correspondent Amanda Meade is being disingenuous in asking Bill Leak “what he was trying to say” with his cut through cartoon of last Thursday.
It’s either that or our elites and some of the journalistic class have reached peak stupid with their failure to comprehend or deliberately misconstrue and misunderstand a very simple message.
Working as a journalist with the major daily broadsheets for almost 30 years and exposed to the myriad issues confronting society, if she is seriously unable to join the dots on this and needs an explanation, then she is working way out of her pay grade and perhaps should consider alternative employment
